Definition of
patriotic change (of morality)
-
All propaganda makes a
patriotic change.
For patriotized morality, the
patriotic change is always a
patriotic change (of morality).
-
The
patriotic change (of morality)
is
the change that would be required to convert the
unpatriotized position
into the
patriotic message. It creates an expression of preference for the US, or an identification with the US government. It is the difference between ordinary communication and the patriotic morality/identity communication in a text. In a moral/identity change, standard and non-patriotic communication has been replaced with a claim that the US government's actions or personnel are good or moral or preferred, or something that is not the US government has been identified with the US government.
